Well I will start out by saying that I am pretty new to this internet dating thing. Figured I would give it a shot as I'm on the computer often anyways! I moved to Chicago a little over a year ago from Grosse Pointe, Michgan. I love living here and learning how to adjust to life in the city. It's been hard, but rewarding. I enjoy the following things:

All types of music ♪♫♪♫, the Detroit Tigers, politics, YouTube, pop culture phenomenons, thunderstorms, grilled cheese sandwiches, vintage Mercedes convertibles, double standards, caffeine buzzes, grocery shopping, reading, breakfast for dinner, nostalgia, rain boots, men of distinction, irony, historical adaptations, exploring Chicago, puzzles, verbal sparing, instant gratification, all types of cuisine, NPR, witty banter, California, cooking, board games, Guinness, guilty pleasures, Labrador puppies, inappropriate comments, pinot noir, pajamas...and much much more.

I'm an extremely well rounded individual, and I get that from my family whom I love dearly. I am a total family girl, and miss them dearly back in Michigan. I have wonderful friends that I consider family, and feel very blessed to have them in my life. Here in Chicago, and all over the U.S. (which makes it fun to visit) I will do anything for the people I care about. I am very social, and love going out, being around people and trying new things. With that being said, I also enjoy relaxing evenings at home curled up with a book or watching a movie and sipping a glass of wine. I enjoy cooking, but I will admit I'm still a beginner. But I'm learning more and more each time!

Dinner, meeting for drinks. Someplace to be able to just talk, see if there's a connection. I don't think there needs to be a huge emphasis on the first date. If I choose to go on another, and another, then that's when I would enjoy more specific things based off what each person has learned about each other.

I say I want to skydive, but if it came down to it someone might have to push me out of that plane. I also want to go white water rafting somewhere out west...

I try to have fun no matter what I'm doing. I know not everything can be fun, so with that being said, I would say being with friends, all going out and enjoying a big dinner with drinks, good food and good company. Going to a sporting event, any sporting event. I love them all, especially baseball. Going to concerts. Playing bags on the beach. Riding my bike. My idea of fun is also dancing around my house in my underware, but hey, don't judge me.
