I'm a very energetic woman. I love my kids, grandkids, pets. I'm an avid runner, love to read, go to the movies and dine out on occasion. I love movies where the underdog wins, where good triumphs over evil -- Cinderella Man, Remember the Titans, LOTR, Rudy. Favorite line from LOTR -- "...all you have to decide is what to do with the time that is given to you." I recently moved to the Quad Cities to care for my elderly parents, so am looking to establish a new set of friends in my age group. I am part of the streaming ministry at church, I'm participating in Bible in a Year through the Hallow app. A man with a good sense of humor is a must. He must be compassionate, like giving of his time and talents to charitable works, family-oriented, not ready to sit in an easy chair and just watch TV.
