I am 44, have been celibate for seven years and not involved since my divorce (this is my first foray into internet dating). I seek good companionship and ultimately love and marriage or long term partnership.

I am 6ft 3inches, told by others am good looking, not overweight. I have a strong moral compass, great sense of humour, am thoughtful kind and considerate.

I like all the normal things, cinema, bars, telly, good food, museums, galleries, exhibitions, walking, log fires and cosy nights in. Where once I was wealthy I now live a very modest lifestyle, am a practising Catholic though not evangelical.

In a former life I was a very successful businessman and graphic designer/art director and writer. I have given all that up and now live a very modest life, money not playing a great part in my life anymore. I am left wing but not fanatical. I seek to become more involved in the Church and am looking for someone who shares my faith.My passions are painting in oils, drawing, etching and pottery. I am an accomplished skier and love it although I haven?t been for the last couple of years. I live very close to the Battersea park where I walk as frequently as possible.
