Passionate, loyal, sincere, golden-hearted, old soul. These words come to mind in thinking about how to describe myself. I aspire to be a lover of life, yet find it is the simple things of life which make it most worth living. My goals in life are to be the best wife(if marriage comes my way again), mother and person I can be and to hurt no one along my journey through this world. I long to always live in or close to the mountains and forests of TN, NC, ID, MT, or WY for it is here that my soul feels most appeased and connected to the land. I often think that I should have been born at least a hundred years ago, for I am rather old-fashioned and sometimes even dis-heartened at the state of our country or world. Things were a lot simpler and less developed back then. I love small town life and could never live in the big city. I enjoy gardening, cooking, dining out, mommytime, wine, outdoor activities and cuddling up on the couch with someone special. I absolutely can't stand people who take advantage of others weaknesses or disadvantages. I follow the teachings of the catholic church (or try very hard to) yet hold a spirituality deep within me similar to that of traditional native americans. I do not understand people who make a fuss over or admire tv or movie stars or similars when such great souls such as mother teresa, jesus and gandhi have "passed by our way." Becoming a mother is the absolute best thing that has ever happened to me and my divorce (which started over 2 years ago), the worst. But I have moved past getting a divorce and am looking forward to a bright future and new start/stab at life. (note= I was not married in the Catholic Church, rather in a vegas chapel only because it was conveniently located close to my former temporary residence in CA and it was quick- needless to say I was not a practicing Catholic for about 5 years during which my former marriage occured)

My perfect match would have a number of qualities, but would have to have similar morals and values to myself. And yes, as corny as this sounds, he would complete me (this goes back to the whole adam and eve thing I believe). Above all I am looking for a man of honor and integrity. A man who treats all women respectfully. I am not looking for anyone, I am looking for the one on here. If I don't find him, no problem, I can make it on my own with a little help for God and those I love. I am not looking to settle for just anyone who wil have me, so that I cant to be married again or with someone to ease a void. I loved being married despite the problems in my first marriage, and I pray that I will marry again some day to a good man, a man of faith the next time.

I enjoy a number of things from gardening to grocery shopping to mommytime and a nice glass of wine occasionally. I love most things outdoors. I really enjoy the fall, the mountains and a good thunderstorm.

I have B.S. in Agricultrue and I am currently working on attaining a M.Ed in Education. One more year to go before I start teaching. Finally, but most definately not least, I have a 3 year old daughter who is my heart and soul and my pride and joy. She is truly is the best blessing I have ever recieved. I would love to one day have many more of such blessings or/and adopt child (ren). I have a real heart for children, so I find it heart breaking that so many don't have loving homes.
