I've recently moved back to Glasgow after living and working abroad and looking to meet someone who's fun, genuine, sociable and serious about a long term relationship. Life is good at the moment and I am a happy and content guy. I’m a very sociable guy and like meeting new people and socialising with friends and family, who are very important to me. I’m a genuine person, hoping to find the same. At the moment I work as a maintenance engineer. I recently completed my engineering honours degree through the Open University, which was a challenge while working at the same time, but glad I have achieved it after 4 years study. I am driven and ambitious and although my work is important to me I definitely have a “work to live” attitude and am keen to make the most of life. In my spare time I enjoy keeping fit by going to the gym and enjoy hiking and being outdoors when the Scottish weather allows! I enjoy the buzz of keeping fit and try to maintain some level of fitness. And yes, being a bloke, I do enjoy my football – playing as well as watching. I have recently decided to take up photography and am also keen to learn the guitar instead of allowing it to become a dust magnet! I love music and cannot imagine life without it. I enjoy going to gigs and listening to live music and try to attend as many as I can. I’m also a bit of a movie buff and enjoy going to the cinema – I have an unlimited pass which is great. I enjoy going on city breaks and try and get away a few times a year when I can. A few of my favourite destinations have been New York, San Francisco, Las Vegas and Austin in the States and in Europe I have enjoyed visiting Berlin, Hamburg, Riga and Krakow to name a few.
