Loving and taking care of oneself passionately means you are able to give the same kind of care and passion in a relationship with another person. Some of the things I do to take care of myself is exercising, eating properly, going to the spa for a nice relaxing massage, taking the time to reflect on life(and I usually like going to the beach, sit on the sand, and watch the waves roll away and smell the fresh ocean air while doing this), and not to forget, having a good spiritual relationship with God.

I am most thankful for the love of God, my family, and close friends. Many people have helped me become the person I am today--the older sister who encouraged me to open-up my imagination through reading books and compose my own poetry, to my best friends Shelly, Mitzi, Erin, and Karla for always being there for me (helping me believe in true friendship), to my cats
(though not people), have shown me that love is unconditional. Life is a constantly ever-changing journey. Lessons learned come in many forms
and it's how we respond to those lessons that makes the difference.

The foundation of a successful relationship is friendship. Being best friends with your significant other is important. Having similar interests and able to rely on great conversations, accompanied with trust, honesty, sincerity, and patience.

The four things my friends say about me:

usually spend my weekends visiting my sister and her family. I absolutely enjoy spending time with my two year old nephew Lucas. I also take pleasure in the simple joys of life such as eating chocolate, having a Starbucks coffee, going to the movies, walking in a park, and strolling along a beach, eating in a nice restaurant with friends, play w/ my cat Caroline, as well as reading a goodwhile listening to great music (ie. Tori Amos, Plumb, Alanis Morissette, Kreesha Turner, Alicia Keys, Coldplay, Jann Arden, Dixie Chicks, Norah Jones, etc..), curled up in bed, with a hot chocolate or herbal tea on the side.

My ideal first date would be to watch a movie and have a cup of coffee and dessert at a cozy cafe. Going to a movie is comfortable ice breaker for me and helps to spark conversation.

I've always wanted to try horseback riding. My dream is to live in a ranch house with my own horses. I love nature and animals and hope to find someone who likes the same things.

My goal in life is to live it to the fullest by seeking new adventures and challenges. I've always wanted to learn how to play several musical instruments and compose music. I am putting away some savings to fulfill this dream of mine. Favourite musical instruments: drums, piano, and guitar. Plan on taking the Electronic Music Part-time Program at Langara College. I am also on a special quest to find that special someone where I can share my life with. I am ready to be with the right person and build a life together.
