In my profession I meet new people every day. When I meet someone who has been married for over 30 years I ask them, what their secret is. I hear numerous answers; however, there is always one common denominator. It is, “friends.” I truly believe that is what a lot of people are missing. Yes, you need to be physically attracted to each other, but if you are friends, you will automatically have similar interests.

About me: I am a mother of two boys. My friends describe me as caring, loyal, funny, and an intelligent person. I have a group of close friends, some of which have been friends for almost 40 years. I think it says a lot about a person when you have long term best friends. I enjoy being with friends and family, and think anything can be fun with the right person. I always look for the good in people. Being very positive, my glass is always half full, not half empty.

A good time for me is anything from going to a football or baseball game (I love watching my son play, as well as the overpaid big boys); to spending a quiet night at home with a glass of cabernet. I also enjoy eating out (fine dining to a burger joint); however, location is a distant second with the conversation and companionship out in front.

My children are a big part of my life, but I would also enjoy having an adult social life. Favorite activities are, going to the beach, reading a good book, travel, and great conversation. I would love to get back on the golf course again; it’s been a long time.

About you: You must have, and appreciate, a sense of humor. You are definitely very intellectual, passionate, grounded and quick witted. You feel good about who you are, you work and play hard. You are looking for that special someone to compliment your life, not change it.
