Who I am:
...I am down-to-earth in my approach to life, yet I love to dream of the possibilities it has to offer. I always have something on my plate to keep me busy: dancing, college, church activities, learning new languages (French, Arabic, and Swahili), helping the youth at the high school I work at, and so on. However, I set aside time for relationships and rearrange my schedule to make it possible. I can be serious and focused, as well as fun and crazy.
My goals:
...I desire to travel to Africa and make a difference there one day. I would like to do that with a man who has the same vision. I greatly desire children of my own, though I also enjoy working with children. It was by working as a security guard at Montbello High School six years ago, that I knew that I wanted to teach. I am in the middle of getting my Bachelors degree, pursuing a double major in English and History, with the focus of Secondary Education.
My hobbies:
...I love to read fantasy, thrillers, and a plethera of info on whatever topic grabs my fancy at the time. I used to like to debate and force my point of view on others. Now, I prefer to find common ground with others, while stocking up on a variety of knowledge that might be necessary for such conversation. I love the mountains, movies, dancing, interacting with people from different cultures, going to beautiful parks (I love nature!), having fun walking around on 16th Street Mall, or Pearl Street Mall, and definately love candles.
When it comes to a man:
...I absolutely love seeing the best that you can be. I will promote it and allow you to be yourself. Oh..., and I also like to talk! Yet, I don't like being the only one doing the talking. I prefer a free-flowing conversation on both ends. I am naturally a leader, but when it comes to a man in my life, I prefer that he take the lead.
Hmm...What about food:
...I like a variety of foods, though my favorite is Mexican. I really have a hard time cooking for a vegetarian or a person who eats nothing but natural foods... actually, that drives me nuts! I'm not really a "fancy restaurant" type of girl, except on very rare occassions.
What do I look like:
...I have dark blond hair and am 5'8". I have hazel eyes and am caucasion. I like to dress up, but I also like to be comfortable. If I'm going to the movies, I wear comfortable pants or jeans not a dress.

I would like to begin with a casual dinner, then go to the movies, then finish off the night with a walk in the park, or having coffee or tea in a small coffee shop.

I would love to take a hot-air balloon ride. I've also wanted to take a boat ride. And one of these days I want to go to the beach or see the sycamore trees in California.

There are plenty of things I want to do; however, my goal is to be as holistic as possible. I want the freedom to be myself while allowing others to be themselves. My future plans consist of helping the children in Africa, which is why I want to know the other three primary languages of Africa besides English (French, Arabic, and Swahili). I plan to teach and hopefully build orphanages.

I usually have a plan for everything, but having fun can also be spontaneous. Some of the greatest times I've had is when I went with a friend to do something we didn't plan on. Hiking, fishing, camping, shopping, travelling, going to amusement parks, going to the zoo, taking a ride in a hot-air balloon, going to a baseball or soccer game, going to a concert, going to a drive-in movie theater, going to a dinner playhouse, having a barbecue with a lot of friends, these are all the things that amuse and entertain me.
