I believe that true love between two people involves honesty, trust, and commitment -- and that we are each other's best friend for life. I'm a divorced father of a wonderful half-Filipina girl, eight years old, who lives with me, and am very much a romantic and a giver, not a taker. I enjoy so many things that I cannot list them all here but want to share my love of travel as I have been to many countries and lived in Japan for five years. I also speak Japanese and some Tagalog/Visayan (Cebuano). I work in the IT field and active in my daughter's activities (Brownies right now!). I am not a sports fanatic and would rather be out doing something than watching sports on TV. But it is nice to stay in sometimes and make a home-cooked meal (I cook too!) and watch a DVD or a quality TV show. Here are some things I like...in no order except for the first one...which has to be first always... Telling or hearing my daughter say "I love you" daily/ Seeing a rainbow across the sky/ Browsing in a used bookstore/ Finding a great bargain at a thrift store or yard sale/ Playing team sports like volleyball or badminton/ Sightseeing at places I've never been to before/ Having a barbecue/ A hot cup of cocoa with marshmallows on a cold winter night/ Knowing I can stay in bed on a rainy day/ Changing of the leaves in autumn/ Seeing a snowfall and making a snowman/ Pepperoni pizza/ Hot cinnamon rolls and coffee in the morning/ Reading the Sunday newspaper when it's raining outside.
