It's not easy trying to describe yourself but I guess I would start by saying I'm probably a bit of an old fashioned kinda girl. I like the simple things in life - it doesn't matter how much you have in life, it's who you have beside you that counts.

I think my friends would describe me as fun to be with, a bit of deep thinker, determined - challenges never seem far away, gentle, sensitive, emotional, sporty and always there to help if in need. I can be a little bit shy at times. Although it doesn't take me too long to find my confidence eventually in most situations.

I enjoy travelling and have been lucky enough to visit quite a few countries within Europe as well as a trip to South Africa and New York at Christmas a few years back - fantastic place to go to at Christmas time!! For someone who's a bit fearful of heights I also managed to persuade myself to do a tandem skydive - very worth it! Tennis has been a big part of my life and I achieved the title of county champion for 3 years, I was also very lucky to become a line judge at Wimbledon for a few seasons - thankfully that was before hawkeye kicked in ;-)

I would like to meet a man who is happy being who they are, who enjoys making the most of life and has a good sense of humour. Someone who enjoys being active but who can also find pleasure in taking life easy as well. A gentle man who is caring, affectionate and thoughtful.

My Catholic/Christian faith is important to me, it's helped me through the ups and downs that life has thrown at me. My faith has given me the determination to keep trying to be a better person. Sharing this philosophy and understanding with someone else would be very special to me.

I'm a bit of a romantic so I'm afraid that I do like the odd chick flick film. My taste in music also shows the romantic side to me! I enjoy going to concerts when I can, I've been to quite a few Jazz concerts which are amazing!

Initially I did try training as a Nurse a few years ago, I wanted to make a difference to other people's lives but sadly it wasn't for me in the end. However in my current role within a financial services company, I feel that I can still help those who are struggling a bit in life. I've learnt, over time, that we are all so dependent on each other, therefore it's vital to help when possible.
