Hi there,

Thanks for looking at my profile. Okay, about me....

I guess my friends would describe me as a cheeky, funny (honest!!), relaxed and easy going person who doesn't take himself seriously. I play sports with friends at work, go to the gym and love socialising with people. Even with the stresses of life, you will always find a smile on my face and a good capacity to laugh at myself.

Looking for someone who is caring, compassionate, genuine, honest, with a sense of humour (especially with my jokes!) and passion for life - this reflects me too. I like to think people can confide in me as I'm a good listener and don't judge people. I guess we may begin being friends but (if we're right for each other) I'd like things to develop further.

In terms of my ideal evening or weekend, this could be dinner at a fine restaurant, watching a comedy or action movie, going to a comedy or music gig, walking barefoot on the beach as the sun sets or doing something adventurous. I also appreciate the great outdoors, walks in the country, etc. One day I like to travel to some of the most exotic places of the world with the right partner.

Things that make me tick:
1)Understanding why people do what they do (psychology); 2) music - love U2; 3) historical fiction; and 4) comedy - especially from Michael Macintyre!

So far my life has been focussed on my career and looking after my elderly mother. However there is something fundamentally missing from my life. I'm ultimately looking for someone who can be my best friend and my one true love. I have saved myself for the right woman and looking for someone who shares similar values. I hope this shows how committed I am to finding a long term, stable relationship.
