I am a semi retired gentleman of 59 years old. I an rather quiet type of person, but possess a humours personality At present I am suffering from bad ankles, so I walk with a cane. I am waiting for an Orthopaedic doctor to have a look and perhaps L can have some constructive sugary. I have seen others who have had this procedure and it worked well for them. I don’t claim to religion as much as I do for spirituality. I choose to be Catholic due to my personal faith in the sacraments. I have a post graduate education from the University of Waterloo and Toronto. I also have had a rather interesting life and have had the opportunity to meet some rare and special people. I am the son of an outstanding cardiologist who worked with Banting and Best on the purification of insulin. Banting and my father also performed numerous experiments together and became good friends. For my self I seem to take after my grand father who had great skills working with his hands. I taught myself fine carpentry and began to design and hand craft antique reproduction furniture. I have done this over a period of some 35 years, but had to retire after a slight stroke. My ankles were also deteriorating very quickly after this occurred. I live in the south side of Edmonton near the valley looking across
to the downtown core. I have been a good single father to my twenty year old daughter who came to be with me at age 8. She is now in her astro physics and is planning a Phd in earth sciences. She is also an excellent and gifted writer who does work with the Edmonton Poet society. For myself I do feel at peace and tend to read, meditate, and pray a lot. I live just a half a block from the church and like to attend daily mass as often as possible. I hope this gives you some kind of an insight as to who I am, my morals, spirituality and as a friend that you can count on.
