| Ik beschrijf mezelf als: | I'm funny, humourous, jocular, hilarious, kind, benevolent, nice, benign, down to earth, noteworthy, trustworthy and pizza crustworthy....... not really haha. I don't wanna sound so loco and cookie-cutter with my adjectives. Yeah, I did spell humourous. Coz I learnt British English. It did land me in trouble many a time though. Just don't use some words if you are in San Francisco! So, self-description is the hard part. Being verbose can come across as over-confidence. Being terse can come across as indifference. I can sit on the fence and say I'm a sane boy, if that's acceptable. I do have my moments of insanity too. Would you say I'm a fruitcake if I microwave fruits coz they're too cold to eat??? Am doing my best to live my life. It's not hard. It's easy. Sleep. Get up. Sleep. Get up. I work in between. Seriously, I hope I'm doing decent for my age. I got good education. I like my job. I like dress shoes for 40 hours a week. Hate polishing them though. I wanna get my MBA at some point. But..... work's going thick, and books make me sleep. I've never had insomnia. I just have to reach out to my book rack. I am into history books, big time. I've read Cicero, Livy, Edward Gibbon, AHM Jones, Dante, both the Pliny's, Descartes, Charles de Secondat etc., well, let me refrain from listing every European intellectual. I forgot Machiavelli (don't tell my church) Reading is important, becoz it's helped me take control of every topic in a discussion. I see all movies. As long as they're not bizarre like battlefield earth or batman and robin. I used to be a rock n roll freak. But, lately, I have grown to appreciate all kinds of music, even fusion. Am done with the loony days of decoding Pink Floyd songs for backward messages. As they always say, "grow up and get over the ROIOs". Still no rap. Food: Italian, Mexican, Thai (there's always that risk of belly expansion) |
