I am a curious, thorough, and calming person, and I tend to approach life with a logical attitude. I always strive to be the best that I can be. Being somewhat traditional, I am not the kind of person who is always looking to make changes in my life, rather I try to see the good in the way things are right now. I consider myself to be the kind of person who can remain calm when things are getting out of control, and perhaps this is my patient, serious side coming through. It also helps in my line of work - working with juveniles in detention.

I like to keep my innermost feelings to myself, rather than tell anyone who will listen about what's on my mind. I am a great listener, too. I try to avoid disagreements to a certain degree, believing that most upsets can be resolved in a friendly way.

Being in a relationship and spending time with family are both important to me, and I enjoy being by myself, too. I have good judgment and set high standards for myself, and I look for these traits in the people that I meet. I do however try not to take myself seriously and don't miss the chance to laugh at myself.

I would have to say that my life right now is pretty simple - work, church, exercising and hanging out with my dog at home or the beach. Most friends are married and those that are not, still like the bar scene which I'm not into anymore. I do like going out, getting something to eat or coffee. Lastly, I do assist at my church in different areas. I help serve mass on the weekdays at St. Benedict's where I go to church. St. Benedict's is of the Traditional Latin Rite, so it took me awhile to learn my Latin.

I'm also very into my faith and would hope that I could find someone who also feels strongly about her faith. For me it's not really necessary for her to be outspoken about her faith as much as she shows it in her actions. St. Francis of Assisi once said preach whenever you can and when necessary use words.
