I have every intention of becoming an English teacher for high school students. Why? one might ask. Well I have been inspired to become a teacher by the worst of all teachers, my eight grade English teacher. She was awful and didn't know how to teach and everyone loved her even still, she also made everyone hate English. I got absolutely nothing out of that year. And because of that I will show others the light. Reading books is just as good as the movies or a television show, except its better because you are inventing the scene in yout own mind. I can't describe the feeling. Its like making your own play inside of your head. I love it.
I believe chivalry is not dead. There are gentlemen out there, they are rare, but they are there. There are still men who consider women like their doors opened for them, and like their food payed for and love a good cheesy compliment every so often.
I love musicals. Where else can you see people burst into song for no apparent reason...There are people out there who hate musicals because why would someone burst into song? Well, I have an answer I was once given by a theatre teacher, "a character has so much emotion that they have no other way to express it othere than bursting into song." Now, I am almost positive that is not word for word but it is close enough. I can understand it though. When I have a lot of compassion for something I write poetry, when I feel quite happy I squeal. So bursting into song is a combination of the two, a squeal and poetry.
