I think I've found a cure for insomnia - in the last 6 months I have read a 1500 page Fraud Examiner's manual, written a book on project auditing and read the PADI scuba diving manual. Sleep has never come so easy!! Is this crazy or brave? - at Christmas, I dressed up as a pixie and ran around a muddy rugby pitch pursued by Christmas Turkeys and Christmas puds! No, I wasn't arrested, though I did raise £10k for Cancer Immunology! In June I ran, scrambled and crawled through mud with a bunch of energetic bootcampers at Back to the Trenches. I've also explored the sunken toilet, plane and old banger at Vobster Quay. I try to make the most of my time - recently I've eaten ice-cream at the foot of the Leaning Tower of Pisa, stood on the Athabasca Glacier and ridden the Rocky Mountaineer into Vancouver. I sing an angelic low alto at the Basingstoke Choral Society and at St Nics in Newbury. I can do an awesome descant to Hark the Herald (cover your ears!). I once went to the Guildhall School of Music and Drama with Orlando Bloom and was commended by one of the profs for my revolutionary rendition of the Revolutionary. These days, I'm an accountant who helps the Board of a large Plc make decisions for better or worse. I'm a one in a million girl, I do not nag or try to change people, I simply accept them and enjoy what they have to offer. I am wise with my money and have nice things as a result. I'm loyal and faithful and look forward to sharing many wonderful new experiences, be it walking in Yosemite, abseiling down the Shard or simply watching the Nutcracker. Having said that, I'm also strong and will stand by you during the tough times. If you feel the same, then perhaps we should meet:)You look forward to meeting up again and holding my hand. We're happy running together, walking together, sweating together in whatever activity we could both participate in. You'd stick around and bring me a sick bowl if I were ill. You'd tell me when I'm being illogical and you call a spade a spade. You are young at heart and find a way to make time for us despite your busy schedule. You're always willing to learn new things. You know how to fix the computer and other household gadgets and do other techno guy stuff (whatever that is!). You understand hard work, love your work and strive to achieve the best that you could in whatever you do. Free Saturday? You're not opposed to attempting the Three Peaks whilst yodelling. Long weekend? Let's head to Rome and be awestruck by the Vatican City. Or if we're feeling extra ambitious, we could be scuba buddies in the Red Sea. Whatever we chose to do, you'd feel like the luckiest gentleman alive.
