I'm not really into the bar scene as a means to meet women ... never have been. I like going to bars and clubs (on occasion), but with a co-ed group of friends to have fun, not to try to randomly pick up. The latter just seems pretty cheesy/sleazy. From what I've gathered, women aren't too keen on having drunken lunkheads who can barely string 3 words together try to grab and grind whatever they can get their hands on. That's not the kind of good first impression I like to give, I must say ... second impression, maybe ... but not first. ;-) I'm out-going, yet laid-back. Driven, though easy-going. I try my best to live life to the fullest. Personal growth and professional development are things that I value quite highly. Stress is the devil and I try to avoid it at all costs. My taste in music is all over the place: big band/swing, be bop jazz, crooners, just about everything 60s, 70s funk/soul, 80s pop/rock, 90s alternative, and I like some current pop/rock, too. Top bands: The Beatles, Earth Wind & Fire, The Dave Brubeck Quartet. As for movies, I'm not much of a horror flick fan. I like comedies and action the best, but also enjoy clever thrillers and dramas, as well. Along with my music-likes, I dig old movies (1930s & up) along with the newer ones. Recent likes: Midnight In Paris, Limitless, Inception. I've been called an old soul who is young-at-heart. |
