I'm a stable working musician and music educator. Now I know what you're thinking: "stable" and "musician" in the same sentence? Is he a unicorn? Fortunately my teaching gig keeps me grounded and definitely keeps life interesting. I'm always excited about learning new things. If you have an appreciation for creativity and the arts, that's my wheelhouse. And if you're familiar with the Meyers-Briggs Type Indicator, I'm an INTJ.

I do my best to stay physically active . . . not always successfully. I try to run 3 days a week and study Kempo karate. In the past, I've also taken Pilates classes and trained at a boot camp-style gym.

I'm a HUGE Angels fan. No, I'm nowhere near as bad as Jimmy Fallon in "Fever Pitch," but I'm a passionate fan and a season ticket holder. I also used to go to spring training every year with my buddies. Are you intrigued? There's only one way to find out more . . .

I love dogs. I have a terrier mix who is a lovable bundle of energy. Keeping up with him is a lot of fun!

I'm an easy-going guy with a number of life-long friends. I'm told that I'm a good listener and that I give great hugs. I treat everyone with honesty and respect and hope for the same in return. I'm also an old-school romantic.

My faith is very important to me. Each week at Mass, I look out from the piano and see people in the congregation who are there alone because their spouse isn't a practicing Catholic. And every week, that reinforces my desire to be able to share my faith with that special someone, and more importantly, grow in it together. I don't remember where I heard it, but someone said that the most important job of a parent is to help get their child to heaven. I'd like to think that the same could be said of a spouse. There's something that one of my Protestant friends (he's a former Catholic) once said to me which has stuck with me for the past 16 years: "The best relationships are Christ-centered." Hey, we're all flawed and broken, but I would think that having the right person to walk beside you in life–someone who is congruent with that mindset–can only help move you in the right direction.

Politically, I lean conservative, so I'm looking for a woman who is right of center. And for me, the sanctity of life is an important issue, so please be pro-life.

I value authenticity, honesty, and good communication within a relationship. And while I love spending plenty of time with the woman I'm dating, sometimes the introverted side of me just needs to be alone to recharge.

Do you like baseball? Jazz? Both are big parts of who I am, so I hope you have an appreciation for them.

I try to stay active. Do you like martial arts? Partner dancing? Bicycling? Running? I'm open to anything that keeps us moving.
